Data Deletion Request

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Your Right to Erasure

Under applicable data protection law, including Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request the deletion of personal data that WGET holds about you.

This page explains what data we hold, how to request its deletion, and what happens after we receive your request.

What Data We Hold

Depending on how you have interacted with us, we may hold the following personal data about you:

  • Name and email address (from order or contact forms)
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Selected service package and order details
  • Payment confirmation references (not card details — those are held by PayPal)
  • Messages and correspondence submitted via our contact form
  • Support communication history

We do not hold passwords, financial card data, or government identity documents.

How to Request Deletion

Submit your request

Send an email to contact@freescout-installation.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.

Identity verification

We will verify your identity to ensure we are deleting data belonging to you. We may ask for confirmation of details such as your name or order reference.

Data deletion

Once verified, we will delete your personal data from our systems within 30 days of receiving the request. You will receive a confirmation email when complete.

Retention exceptions

Certain data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so (e.g. financial transaction records required for tax compliance). We will inform you of any such exceptions.

Response Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours of receipt.

We will complete the deletion and send you a confirmation within 30 days.

In complex cases, we may extend this period by a further 60 days, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reasons for it.

Retention Exceptions

The right to erasure is not absolute. We may retain certain data where required by law:

  • Financial and transaction records must be retained for 10 years under Moroccan accounting and tax law.
  • Data subject to an ongoing legal dispute or regulatory investigation cannot be deleted until the matter is resolved.

In these cases, we will inform you of the specific data retained, the legal basis, and the expected retention period.
